Semester 5 is OVER!

After an intense 2 weeks at home designing, creating the 3D renderings, and designing the final presentation board, my photoshop file decided to corrupt 15 hours before D-day, which was on Monday evening. So guess, what I did.... I stayed up whole night redoing the same presentation board... Such a waste of time. At this point, I did not bother about my portfolio and decided to be in a do or die situation... All the printing shops only open at nine and I was really desperate. I was praying for a miracle to happen on Monday night. And guess what.... It did... Somehow, one of my friends managed to persuade a shop at Taman Mayang (I think thats the name of the area), which I will promote soon because they saved my life, to open at 8 a.m. to cater our last minute printings. I finished my presentation board at 4 a.m. but decided not to sleep and start on my portfolio. Tired and moody, I fell asleep on the sofa at 6 a.m. and woke up at 7 to get ready and head out to the printing shop. I was lucky because when I reached, the boss opened the gate... My prayers were getting answered....

From 8 a.m., the printing shop's Owner's son helped me adjust and ensure everything is in placed and it took 15 minutes for the thing to load and it took another 30-45 minutes for the printing and lamination. I tell you, when the printer started printing, my heart melted... Suddenly felt like crying... That was how stressed out I was... I was happy I finally printed the presentation board...

It was 920 a.m. by the time everything was done... So I rushed to college and manage to get there at 9:40 a.m. I was 40 minutes late but surprisingly, I was one of the early birds who pinned my presentation board up.

Whew......

Finished my crit at 11 a.m. with both positive and negative crit. What worried me more was that the crit said I was a thinker, and thinkers are usually lazy because they use verbal presentation and seldom do much in drawings and all the physical work... *haih* as if I didn't do much.. Look at my board.... Well, they liked the overall design.. The constructive crit is that in the future, I need to label my drawings better, Layout is very inportant and also use more renderings to illustrate my interior spaces... So, I learned my lesson... But overall, I am glad.. I did my best and I personally loved my design.

Here are some renders.....

And here is my Portfolio...

FINALLY!!! ITS OVER!!! HAPPY HOLIDAYS SABDians.....

Oh wait.... We have to work... Haihhhh.....

And I quote Mr. Keith (my lecturer for studio):"According to the Nazis, they had this saying:"Work can set you free.""

Hmmmmmm... NAhhhhhhhh.....
