Holding back some memories, now released...

It has been almost a year. Yes, A YEAR! I went to these places but I never posted it up on the blog? Wondering why? Well, its because my ex didn't allow me to before. And after our break up, I didn't want to look at those pictures. You know, emotional. Well, the only reason I decided to post it up now is because, I just remembered I had these pictures and I haven't post it up after sort of arranging my picture files in my desktop. Ironic.... But this shows I am okay with the past. Like my current studio, I have reconciled with my past. Well, about a year ago, me, my ex and her friends planned and went on a trip to Langkawi and Penang. Yes, we were happy then but not really. To be honest, that trip signified the start of sort of a broken relationship. But I had fun anyways. Well, I have forgotten what happened and the stories of these pictures. Forgive me ya.. But I do remember where (Langkawi/Penang) so bear with me.

In Langkawi for 3 days and 2 nights.... Went around with a rented van... Visited some of the famous places... Took some really interesting photos.

Went to this island which is close to Langkawi and this monkey was angry with the tourist... Growled at us...

Free fish spa...

Went to a famous waterfall.... Don't know the name... HAHA....

Then on one of the islands, while we were enjoying our time on the beach, some monkeys stole our food and I managed to catch it red handed. See the one with the pink packet in its arms... That was our strawberry cookies... I think in its mind it was thinking:"VICTORY!!!!"

Some crabs? Cannot be eaten though. Too small.

On the fmous black sand beach, I managed to catch some locals harvesting clams. Beware... The surface is sharp and can cause deep wounds.

Some of my best shots taken at the Langkawi underwater world.

Kiss the crocodile at the crocodile farm.

Or, Smile with the snakes.... :)

These snakes looks more healthy than the ones I saw at Zoo Negara.

Trip to Langkawi was fun. And sorry, I am not going to put up the group pictures. No permission from the people. Anyways, if I were given the chance to go to Langkawi again, I will make sure the person who invites me pay for me. Why? Because, for me, its not really worth the money. Yes, its duty free but so what? I still prefer Redang. Though its only the beach, but Redang has a much nicer view. So on my tour around Malaysia, I can now strike off Langkawi and Redang. Oh yea, after Langkawi, we took a 6 hour boat ride to Penang Island.

One thing about penang island is that I love the architecture there. There are so many well-preserved buildings there. We stayed at a Budget hotel near Komtar, so it was easy for us to walk around the island to look for some of the famous food there.

My favourite picture from the trip to Penang, I have to say is this shot. Was taken at a beach in Penang. This little girl wanted to pat the horse. Look at her expression. So adorable.

Going to Penang, besides the Fried Kuea Tiaw, you must try the cendol and the Penang Laksa. It is to die for. Cheap and delicious, I think I had 2 bowls of cendol and 2 bowls of laksa in one visit, after lunch. HAHA...

The Phua Chu Kang stall. Why is it called that? Because Pua Chu Kang visited and ate at this stall looo... Sorry, I don't remember the name of the road. Maybe those who are from there can enlighten us.

*Slurps*

Ho Chak!

*YUM YUM YUM* I miss the laksa...

Well, the trip lasted about a week. Ate a lot, played alot.. A good way to start off a holiday.

Some shots of the Penang Habour.

Well, by looking at these pictures, it reminds me of how fast time passed. I was in my first half of my second year in architecture then. And this year, the first half of my third year is ending soon. 19th May to be exact. So what have I learned? First off, relationships (with friends or a girlfriend) can be hard. I seriously need to learn how to deal with these issues. Especially issues with future groupmates. Friends are the hardest to work with. because you need to hold back your feelings just to ensure friendship is not broken. In BGR, well, it hurts. First time experiencing it and learned to overcome it. Well, I wish my ex all the best. I am not her guy after all. And to my future girl, whoever you are.... Don't make my life a living hell again... Just joking la...

Time is ticking, my life is getting shorter day by day...
But the future must come so time must past.
Lots of work to do, my future planned.
No time to back out...
Time to move forward....

WEeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee........ Studio!!! EXAM!!!

p.s. To those who went on the trip with me, Thanks for the memories... If you do read my blog that is. HAHA.....
