World largest tankard....
Weighing in at a hefty 1557 kg (3432 lbs) and standing 1987 mm (6' 6") tall and having a girth of 1693 mm (5' 6"); this monumental feat was born of the desire that Royal Selangor should celebrate its centenary year in 1985 in
dramatic fashion.
From the lobby, we went up the escalator to the heritage room, where the guide gave us an insight of the history of Royal Selangor. From how it started out from a small factory to the internationally known factory now. Royal Selangor is still a family business (meaning passed down from generation to generation).
The route we took for the tour
From the heritage room, we entered the gallery to see the artifacts collected by Royal Selangor. Some even dating back to 120 years where basic tools were used.
Artifacts....
Artifacts....
Next, we headed for the experimental zone where we got to feel, hear, see and also play with the things on display... With permission of course.....

Okay.... The boring part bout this trip is the presentation that was given to us bout the concept of Royal Selangor and bout metals, however, it was very educational in a way.. After 15-20 minutes, we were given a tour on the factory on how they shape and make the things... And when given the opportunity, I tried to shape it.... The guide was mean... He said that I needed 6 years of training instead of 6 months.... CISSSSS... Well, pictures speak louder than words... SO here are some pictures for you to enjoy....

The tour of the factory was short.. But really, its huge... the aunties that we saw in the pictures are only some of them... Walking out of the factory, some banners caught my eyes.... And it seems as if it is their motto... HAHA....
