Upcoming "events"..

Yes, it has reached the final 2 months for semester 4, including the exams and the horrid "CRIT" day. The mid-term break should be called, "CATCH UP WITH YOUR WORK" instead of break. But somehow, I still don't have the mood to do anything yet. All I did so far was mess around with my 3d Max assignment and staring into my creature diagram to come up with something for Studio 2 final assignment a.k.a. designing a diver's center. Besides that, I have two group research papers too with the same Lameville Gang. Busy busy busy busy... Wonder when I will start having the feeling to get anything done. Oh well. At least I am trying. HAHA. Oh yea, I am turning old... 28 more days to my 21st. Oh the joy.. OF BEING OLDER. Well, be sure to come visit my blog when I try to conjure something up of turning 21. HAHA. *NOT FUNNY*. I know. Well, Blabbers are blabbers and this is a blabber post. BLABBER BLABBER BLABBER.......

TCPJ Christian Fellowship

TCPJ Christian Fellowship had their first ever Full Worship Event, "True worship" on Tuesday's meeting which was basically yesterday. I am so glad I did not miss it. Though small, its really enjoying just being able to worship and sing unto the Lord for 1 and a half hour. Each bible study group had to lead 15 minutes of worship each and there were 3 groups in total. My group, which was lead by Benny had a practice last Friday and also at 430 p.m. yesterday, half an hour before the event itself. Its cool being able to meet other Christians and having a fellowship with them. Everyone was tired, bummed by their assignments or exams but they still managed to go for the event.

Sherman, tired and excited at the same time. He was the guitarist for the group.

Everyone was excited and ready for a great worship session.

I am not planning to write much. So enjoy the pictures.

Session started

Every group started with lively and action songs where everyone jumped, dance.... Basically just enjoying themselves.

The musicians were also enjoying themselves.

The Second session

After the Praise songs, it was time for us to quieten ourselves and worship God with meaningful, heart touching songs.

One thing I learned from this event is that, no matter our race, where we come from, the meaning of the songs written unto God, to praise him or to worship, the content of the songs are always similar and that it always touches the heart.

I learned a new song which is in Swahili.

Hakuna Mungu Kama Wewe Bwana

Hakuna Mungu Kama Wewe Bwana (aah aah)(x2)
(Kwa Uweza)
Kwa Uweza ye ye ye
Ei yee
Hakuna Mungu Kama Wewe Bwana

TPC New Board of Directors first meeting

I was introduced into the Photography club by the first president of the club, David Ooi when I was in semester 3. All 8 members of Lameville joined the club at the start of the year because we all loved photography. Be it Cam-whoring pictures or events, we just love taking pictures with out trusty cameras. So, we joined the club. After a few month later, we went for the board of directors interview then after 2 weeks we were in the new Board of Directors. With the new President, YC, and her newly appointed Board to help her out, we had our first Board of directors' meeting.

With many new members of the board, it is going to be a very interesting process.

Eat while you work can really save time.
8 Lameville members are in the Board. Its definitely going to get wild out there.

aGENDAmaGENTA_TPC08 is in full swing with all the new directors being sworn in to promote the club and to instill excitement and fun for all members.

Lets not forget David who will still be coordinating all the events as the Events director. He doesn't look excited though. Hmmm...

The Meeting has begun, Photos taken by Sherman Tan.

The famous white specs of Darrens really catch the attention of everyone including the camera.

As the new board reads through the brief provided by the President herself,

We were happy to start the new term.

With New agendas, we will be doing something indead.

Lydia, the new secratary of the club.

One of our talented techies. Hope to be learning something from them soon.

The meeting was considered as a successful one. Y.C. managed to brief everyone on their post and their jobs. Good work Y.C. Waiting for the brain storming session soon. I will try to do my best to service the club. To the new Board, lets work hard to support the club and make it a successful one.
