Some one is pissed off........

While the four people flame me on my chatbox and say I am copying their blogs, first off, bug off. I have all the rights to write what I want to write and for the record, I haven't read any of your blogs since I got home so bug off and let me write.

Here is something interesting I found in the market a few days ago. Its a tropical fruit which looks like Laycee fruit but actually it is sort of a wild rambutan which the locals call "Buah Tambuon". It is one of those fruits which were cheap in the past but expensive in the present. 1 bunch RM3. Mum and dad calls it their childhood snack, costing them 10 cents for a bunch back when they were lil kids.

So, as you can see. Tiny little fruits which looks like Lycee.


And when you open it, it looks like a mini rambutan.


But the skin looks like Lycees'


Its sweet and sour and doesn't taste like Rambutan nor Lycee... Its totally a different type of fruit..

Oh yea, Sago worms is in season. Hopefully I can find some in the market and will post it up to gross you all out.

p.s. Just started work today. Hopefully I can survive 2 months of it!

The old days...

Can you imagine? It has been 4 years since I left secondary school and guess what? I actually kept the old photos in my memory file/box and found some of these memoirs of the 6 years of my life in secondary school. At the time, I always feel like finishing secondary school fast fast fast. But now, how I wish I was so free (though had to study more.). So to all my old friends (not age but how long I knew you.), have fun reading and enjoy the photos. If you want it, you have to wait till I find a scanner so I can email it to you. The ones posted here were taken with my camera so it is not as clear.


Open my box to the past....

So lets go back first to 2001....

I was in form 1.... Everyone looks innocent and sweet.


Form 2. Not much difference... Clement keeps disturbing the photographer till they just printed this on the school magazine back in 2002.. Oh boy... Yes, Clement didn't stop there..


In 2003, he bothered the photographer again... Luckily we were used to it.


Here are those who got 6As in PMR. The only reason I got this picture is because, I got 6As.. Duh... HAHA...


My form 4 class. 4S5 yo.. It was a totally different class. Had to make new friends who will go through Form 5 with me...


And not forgetting. 5S5 of 2005.


And the fun part was, we were allowed a fun picture as well. Last year mahh!! (for most of us that is...)

Sadly, we haven't had a gathering for a looooooooonnnngggg time already. Maybe the 2005 alumni should come and meet up some time soon. But I guess it will be hard. Some are in Australia, some in the U.K., some graduated and are working, some had children and are married.. Suddenly, I feel that time is cruel.. I feel so old.... Looking back, its been 10 years since I studied Chinese. WOW!!! So don't judge. At least I can speak and read (a little) of Chinese... Wohoooo.. More memories when I can find it. Been digging and searching.. Who knows, I might put my baby photos up.... But.. that will have to be thought over first. HAHA....

I'm Back in Sibu yo...


Guess where I am?


Yes, I am home! Oh, for some who don't know, my hometown is in Sibu, Sarawak. You can either read it from my previous posts or you can wait till I rewrite and reintroduce the small town I call home.


The flight back was okay. The skies were clear and the clouds were just magnificent. So why not take the opportunity and take some wonderful above ground shots right? Its not everyday that I get to fly. I was lucky I got the whole row to myself thanks to some mistakes made by the ground staff. Airasia, what can I say.... Nothing... however, I was surprised that they assign seats for you nowadays. See how ignorant I am when I am busy with work.


And... After 1 1/2 hours...

I sigh... Why? Because I am back in Sarawak, and that, I think is the mouth of the Mighty Rejang River..


And from the skies, I feel like I am back in my comfort zone.

Food, rest, then work... Yes, I will have to complete 2 months of industrial training this holiday. Oh well, I am going to make sure my schedule is full with photography sessions with some of the bloggers/photographers in Sibu. Anyone want to meet up with me? Just send me an email. I will be in Sibu till end of July..

Angels & Demons movie review...


What an awesome way to start the holidays... After passing up our portfolios today, the gang decided to go watch a movie at Sunway Pyramid and the movie chosen was Angels and Demons.
I didn't read the books but the movie was pure.........

AWESOME!!!!

I couldn't even take my eyes off of the movie, well, except for the beginning when it was quite boring. But in the end, it was one of the best movies, besides Red Cliff 2 which I watched so far...

I give this movie a 9/10...

Won't mind watching it again... Oh yea, forgot to mention, it is better then Da Vinci code...

And the actors and actresses were brilliant. Don't believe me, go watch it when you have the time!

Semester 5 is OVER!

After an intense 2 weeks at home designing, creating the 3D renderings, and designing the final presentation board, my photoshop file decided to corrupt 15 hours before D-day, which was on Monday evening. So guess, what I did.... I stayed up whole night redoing the same presentation board... Such a waste of time. At this point, I did not bother about my portfolio and decided to be in a do or die situation... All the printing shops only open at nine and I was really desperate. I was praying for a miracle to happen on Monday night. And guess what.... It did... Somehow, one of my friends managed to persuade a shop at Taman Mayang (I think thats the name of the area), which I will promote soon because they saved my life, to open at 8 a.m. to cater our last minute printings. I finished my presentation board at 4 a.m. but decided not to sleep and start on my portfolio. Tired and moody, I fell asleep on the sofa at 6 a.m. and woke up at 7 to get ready and head out to the printing shop. I was lucky because when I reached, the boss opened the gate... My prayers were getting answered....


From 8 a.m., the printing shop's Owner's son helped me adjust and ensure everything is in placed and it took 15 minutes for the thing to load and it took another 30-45 minutes for the printing and lamination. I tell you, when the printer started printing, my heart melted... Suddenly felt like crying... That was how stressed out I was... I was happy I finally printed the presentation board...

It was 920 a.m. by the time everything was done... So I rushed to college and manage to get there at 9:40 a.m. I was 40 minutes late but surprisingly, I was one of the early birds who pinned my presentation board up.


Whew......

Finished my crit at 11 a.m. with both positive and negative crit. What worried me more was that the crit said I was a thinker, and thinkers are usually lazy because they use verbal presentation and seldom do much in drawings and all the physical work... *haih* as if I didn't do much.. Look at my board.... Well, they liked the overall design.. The constructive crit is that in the future, I need to label my drawings better, Layout is very inportant and also use more renderings to illustrate my interior spaces... So, I learned my lesson... But overall, I am glad.. I did my best and I personally loved my design.

Tell me its not hot and I will slap you....

Okay, I know I shouldn't be here blogging but what the heck, I need to de-stress a bit. The weather, as you all know is super hot, so if you are in Australia and the weather is cool and nice...

SHUT UP!!!

Well, even though it did rain a while these few nights, it is still unbearably hot during the day...

And here is the proof..

The haze is back... This was taken today from my place... Can you spot KL tower? Usually you can but now, it is covered by the haze...


And right opposite my place... Look how bad it is...

And how else is the weather bothering me? Well, it got me sick... But I still have lots of 3D work to do so I can't stop... Counting down to presentation day on the 19th... Gosh.... TIME! SLOW DOWN!!

But so far, I am glad to say I am done with the exterior with its details.. Now, its time to go into the interior and make it even more beautiful. Wish me all the best. Need to get it done so I can start doing my presentation board and portfolio and hopefully, my physical (can touch) model...

WHew! Studio is tough work...

Some encouraging words I found while reading while resting from staring at the computer whole day. As most know, its my second last semester for my Diploma in architecture. And when you think you get use to the life, it just gets harder and harder. More to do, more thinks to resolve in the same amount of time. But, NO... No giving up. I won't. Will keep pushing to death do us part. HAHAHA..... I am married to my work... Well, so long as I have somethings to keep me in check like reading non-architecture books and blogging. And I just realized one good way for me to relax.. Want to know what that is?

Looking back at all the pictures I took.... And laugh like a maniac when I see some of the candid shots saved on my computer...

Yes, I am turning more grumpier and evil by the day..

A column....


Its weird how sometimes I feel proud that I accomplish something small. Like this 3D Column. Took me 1 hour to get it right... And you know what.... I still have 50% to go on my final 3D model. And I want to finish everything, including the interior by Sunday night. Think I can accomplish that? Hmmm.. Okay finee... Monday night then..

First check from Nuffnang...


Went to check the mailbox this morning and guess what I found, a mail which goes out to me. And in this envelope, there was a check, a check from Nuffnang. Finally... Do you know how hard it is to achieve RM50? It took me 1 and a half years to reach this amount. ONE AND A HALF YEARS!! Well, I know I shouldn't complain much because I know I am not a hardcore blogger who updates his/her blog every single day or b*tch about every single detail of their life and bla bla bla bla bla...... So, Thank You Nuffnang for paying me for being a lousy blogger. HAHA....

Ever wondered about your future?

Yes, I am tired and stressed... So what did I do? I took the "What will your daughter be named?"quiz. So according to the quiz, if I do have a daughter, I should name her Issabella. Such a pretty name. Issabella or Elisabeth (I still prefer Issabella) means "God's promise". Awww right? Well, its a name I will definately keep in mind for the future. Imagine little Issabella Chew.... Hmmmm...


And yes, I prefer a daughter to a son in the future.. Well, not really, 1 son and 1 daughter will be nice. A balance...
